OP, this is a false equivalency. Your position doesn’t lead to progress, IMO. In a two party system, you select the lesser of two evils and spend as many days as possible holding that lesser evil to account. The simplicity of the false equivalency you strike is only meant to provide some relief for yourself, because the proper path I outline above is fucking exhausting, but unfortunately necessary. If you don’t agree with a two party system (I don’t know anyone that enjoys this shit) then focus this wasted energy on advocating wholeheartedly for a better way to vote that allows for the participation of third parties, ranked choice or something of that path of thought. You need to do some reading. Ballot box socialism/ ballot box progress doesnt work. The democratic party is a right wing party. The two party system isnt even a real two party system because of this. Democrats are controlled opposition and ultimately they allow what is called the ratchet effect to happen. Any time a far right authoritarian regime is in power they push the lever as far right as they can and the democrats do nothing to move in the other direction and any image of an attempt to do so is just them pushing the lever against the pawls of a ratchet so that no meaningful movement to the left comes of it.
