Umm. Figma’s UI is exactly something people saw before. It’s aggressively based on Sketch’s UI.
Figma blew up because it was free for non-enterprise use, had Invision-style prototyping built-in, it was a more performant than Sketch, and they were adding features faster than Sketch could.
And FigJam is just a Miro / Mural clone. But that is also very performant, and they had some silly features / plugins that made work fun.

The big user experience problem is everyone is getting funneled into Lemmy.world and Lemmy.ml, and they can’t scare fast enough.
But Lemmy is federated. So signup for a smaller instance. You’ll still be able to subscribe and post to communities on other instances.
I’ll go to whatever is the better experience for healthy online communities. Lemmy scratches an itch now, but there is definitely room for improvement.
It’s still hard for small niche community to gain traction here, the mod tools don’t scale for beans, and onboarding into an instance is still a big barrier for too many people.
