      I’m glad Europe is uniting.

      While still buying a lot of natural resources from Russia.

      At least half of Europe is the very definition of hypocrisy the last few years.

      Zelensky is impresive not because of what he says but because of what he does, I think the European Union isn’t demonstrating anything but talking a lot.

        Shit like that takes years to wean off, can’t just throw the breaker on that without building up its replacement and infrastructure first and gradually transition

    Who would have thought in 2000 that a fight between a reality TV star that was best know for giving directions to the home alone kid and a reality TV star who was best know for playing the piano with his penis would decide the fate of democracy in Europe.

    Well, in Zelenskyy’s defense, I don’t think that anything he’d have done differently would have likely substantively have altered the outcome.

      I agree that he couldn’t have made things better, but he could have made things much worse.

      For one, he could have caved and signed away the mineral rights.

      He also could have engaged in the clown show at the white house last week. Instead he refused to even play dress-up and stood his ground. He communicated the truth well to anyone who cared to listen.
