This isn’t an America problem. People do this in every country
This is capitalism not corruption
For everyone here’s a fun thought experience. You have a room with 100 people. In that room is 100$. 1 person (Elon Musk let’s say) holds 95$. 4 people (let’s say various CEO class people) hold $1 each. The remaining 95 people share the remaining 1$.
And yet here we are all fighting because some of our deluded asses think we are going to be one of those 5 people one day.

So I’m in Canada and have never seen in a church but I have in a synagogue which made me chuckle because damn is it on point lol
Small nitpick. The ones in charge aren’t dumb they’re dangerous and they’re feeding off a dumb segment of the population that has been conditioned for this through a steady diet of bullshit from social media.
For me I disassociate. I know the people around me by and large love and/or care for me and if shit hit the fan I’m fine.
The news is just entertainment. I love watching the news. I love politics. Sometimes it’s surreal and scary but in no ways do I feel worried. I worry for those around me because they may not be able to protect themselves due to age or capacity but then that’s why I’m there if required.
I love that out minister Joly flat out told CNN, and I’m paraphrasing, “if we are being honest America is a net exporter of immigrants and drugs to Canada. Don’t lie and say this is about drugs or immigrants it isn’t. It’s about destroying the Canadian economy so you can annex us for everything that makes us one of the most desired countries in the world to live.”

The amount of friends I have who are perfectly normal and sane people who are bringing up in casual conversations the hope for Trump to be assassinated is insanely high. I’m in Canada.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a Canadian lifer there’s lots we don’t do right but this here… I love our country. We aren’t completely subverted to American policies.
That said now is when we should be shoring up those areas of our country that are at risk of American corruption.
