I like computers, trains, space, radio-related everything and a bunch of other tech related stuff. User of GNU+Linux.
I am also dumb and worthless.
My laptop is HP 255 G7 running Manjaro and Linux Mint.
I own RTL-SDRv3 and RSP1 clone.
SDF Unix shell username: user224
I’d date it around ~2008
Eh, my laptop’s webcam looks worse than this.
It often feels like I am just a user of someone else’s device.
Even from the stuff that is shown like “Your device has new features” and “Settings changed by carrier”. And how Motorola tried forcing updates by using non-dismisable (they would re-appear immediately) full-screen notifications, and trying to disable the app led me to “Blocked by your IT admin” (I returned that phone).
Also when I connect any modern phone to Wi-Fi not manually set as metered it starts downloading a bunch of random shit automatically.
It keeps killing apps I want running (I had to use a cheap dumb phone as alarm clock with the past 2 smartphones), but keeps all Google services conveniently spending data and battery.
I didn’t find such post on their account. Are you sure you’re not mixing it up with someone else?
I know somebody else here (Lemmy) posted some low-IQ related question(s).
I am not going dox them here though.
I actively go out of my way to avoid hiring people who list random and disparate certifications in their resume.
Why though? If something from the list is relevant, decide how much of a positive it is. If it isn’t then just skip, but why avoid?
Based on https://postmarketos.org/install/ the Nokia N900 can run the latest stable release of PostmarketOS.
Nokia N900 was a proper Linux-powered phone released in November 2009.
So yeah, it’s been getting over 15 years of community support so far.
Edit: Fixed typo
Probably the latter.
Safari was also late to implement AV1 video support. Based on caniuse website, only MS Edge was later, though you could install an extension to get it running.
Oh, and when I say “support”, I mean you’d have to buy a new device.
Supported only on devices with hardware decoder, e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, M3 MacBook Pro, etc.
Edit: Chrome since v. 70 (2018-10-16), Firefox fully since v. 67 (2019-05-21), Firefox partially since v. 55 (2017-08-08) whatever “Not supported by default, but can be enabled” means, Safari since v. 17 on newer devices (2023-09-26)
Around 2020 I think. But it’s HP.
