That’s a normal way to feel. It’s okay to still care about him, but it sounds to me like there are a lot of reasons to move on. It’s also probably the best way to help him grow up himself

Being in poor mental health isn’t an excuse for ghosting. Ghosting suggests he doesn’t value your wellbeing over his own: it’s a pretty cruel thing to do to someone, and deeply selfish. You’re still young. In your shoes, I think I’d explore other relationships before diving back into one with several red flags.

One of several reasons it did nothing is that most Americans aren’t interested in action. Luigi is. I don’t think his is the only action or even the best, but if other people were taking action it would be a lot more effective.

I hope you’re not too, but I believe you probably are. All these ridiculous orders they’re giving? People are carrying them out without hesitation all across the US. They dumped billions of gallons of reservoir water from California for no reason. They keep letting DOGE into their spaces and just letting them do whatever they want. Nobody in the US has the spine to stand up to authority and I will not risk having any faith that they’ll suddenly remember it when people trained to follow orders and shoot are told to follow orders and shoot.

I’d really love a modern smartphone with a t9 keypad. I used to be able to type almost as fast on t9 as on a real keyboard. I miss it so much.

I kind of a little bit believe that dreams have some weird predictive ability. The scientist in me knows it’s likely a mix of confirmation bias and information synthesis, but like… my family has a pretty strong history of dreaming about deaths and births a week or two prior to pregnancy announcements and right before/after deaths. My mom has had several dreams where a loved one has come and chatted with her in a dream and said goodbye, then later that day we learn they passed, for example. It’s happened enough that I have a lot of trouble brushing it off. I’ve had a similar dream myself and it felt quite different from a normal sleep dream. That one was less paranormalish though, it was a friend who died a few years ago and showed up to give me some life advice. Just… hit me in a specific, indescribable way (it was good advice too).

there’s nothing at all wrong with a small instance, although afaik if your instance goes offline your account is lost. I haven’t been active much between the api thing and recently, so it’s possible they implemented the much asked-for account migration feature in the intervening years.
