FYI if you use !bellobearofficial@lemmy.world then it’ll work as a clickable link regardless of instance
More of a crossover between !mathmemes@lemmy.blahaj.zone and !historymemes@lemmy.world really!
I guess it’s still true if you want to get that perfect Arch install, but I’d imagine most people still saying that now had a bad experience many years ago and are unaware of how simple and smooth it can be nowadays.
I was about to say “what article?” because this is just an image post, but then I opened this in the web ui and apparently there’s a linked post that my client isn’t showing!
The one premium game I found seems to run fine with network permission blocked so I guess it’s developer-dependent
Swiping seems to work fine on Heliboard (I guess because it uses the same proprietary library as gboard)
Doronko Wanko is a short free game with a funny name about being a dog and making a mess
Guess those potions were to strong for him
Security is the priority, but that does usually give you a good amount of privacy too.
One example I remember where there was a clash was developing their sandboxed Google Play Services rather than supporting MicroG. I think their reasoning was that sandboxing the Google code makes it much more secure, and even though MicroG is more private from Google it’s still a mystery blob with full access to your device and therefore less secure.
Huh, apparently I’ve picked up a few free Android games over the years, may as well take this opportunity to actually install and play them before they maybe disappear forever
Data privacy (the “right to be forgotten”) I’d say is the main reason. Say you realise that you’ve built up a little to much linkable information about yourself over the years and don’t want it readily available for whoever might want to make use of it.
If you’d only ever interacted with Lemmy and not read up on how ActivityPub works then that’s a reasonable assumption, it’s not like anything (that I’ve noticed!) actually tells you that your votes are public, and they don’t look to be public in the places you’re likely to see!
As appropriate for a post about fish I’ve taken the bait and looked up just what the fuck is going on. It’s a barreleye or macropinna microstoma and it’s pretty cool.
The Poland thing is pretty minor in comparison to cutting the entirely of Asia in half instead of splitting one of the massive oceans. Did they just want to put the Americas in the middle?
These sound like great prompts for an Acquisitions Incorporated game, or maybe something set in Discworld
Lemmy can be as simple if not simpler than that:
