There was an old trend of trick divers jumping from incredible heights into incredibly small pools. Cartoons would reference this with scenes of divers making trick jumps into things like buckets and cups of water. This is further playing off of that meme.
So many news articles questioning how these acts could be expected to help and hwo foolish they are when the answer is much, much simpler - the damage is in purpose. The harm is on purpose. The rest of the US can no longer assume “good intentions” from their caretakers. It’s all malice from here on out.

They’re being an apologist piece of shit, but it doesn’t justify ableism like that.
And 40+% deciding it didn’t matter who won. Their choice led to this just as much as that 22%.

Not sure about rigged, but honestly, depending on how the next few years go, it may be straight up dangerous for non-republican Americans to vote. While that’s by no means a certainty, people should keep an eye on any electoral changes made in their state.

People don’t need to know how to write a program from scratch to have useful tech knowledge. Knowing basic keyboard shortcuts puts a person above the vast majority of other people in terms of tech literacy.
Most people probably wouldn’t know who that is. Only some.
Important caveat that, while all instances have equal access to all communities (barring defedaration), communities won’t show up for instance users until at least one user has subscribed to it. Some instances use bots to automatically federate new communities, but it’s not a guarantee. That said, World will likely have the most comprehensive access to other communities given the size of its active user base.
