They shouldn’t have a veto power. They should only be able to control their own choices.

No, the first one got kicked out by rustad for mocking residential school survivors, and the other two decided to follow her. These are the worst possible people.
There’s a difference between voting against something and vetoing it.
A veto prevents the other countries from doing it.
That’s overstepping its sovereignty, and the outer countries should tell the US to go fuck itself.
Not just any trade agreement, the one he took credit for negotiating and signed himself during his last presidency.
Actual answer?
Canadian egg farms have tens of thousands of chickens on average, and there’s a lot of separate farms.
US egg farms have millions, and there are fewer total farms.
If a single bird gets infected with avian flu the whole flock needs to be culled. Bigger flocks are both more likely to catch it, and more birds affected when it happens.
All of them, we don’t import milk in any sort of grocery store quantity.
I just wish it was proportional representation
I will never buy American milk. Ever.
It has nothing to do with price, and everything to do with the US allowing the injection of growth hormones in Dairy cows which are banned in Canada.
Burning shit seems to work well when done in large enough quantities, see France.
The swastika is a fairly obvious symbol of hate, same with a white pointed hood.
They aren’t normally used in a generic fashion though.
Maybe a red lightsaber?
What do you think buying $200 worth of honey will save you?
You’re likely better off investing the same amount of money.
Buying it all now is betting that inflation will be higher than your investment return over the next 40 years. That’s not a good bet unless the world literally collapses.
I don’t live in the US and I don’t drive an American made car, I’m not worried about the South Korean government forcing Kia to brick my vehicle.
I said “western car companies” not US car companies specifically.
Why do you think there wouldn’t be an outright war with China?
They plan on invading Taiwan at some point, and we’ll probably be funding the defence there.
They’ve already got paid at that point, and with the sanctions we’re likely to slap on them we wouldn’t be buying more anyways, so why wouldn’t they just brick all the existing cars in retaliation? or use it as a threat to try to keep us from retaliating?
Western car companies are not beholden to western governments in the same way that companies in China are. We have laws against government intervention like that here, while China explicitly mandates the opposite.
Sure laws can change, but right now the situation is extremely clear in terms of who we should trust.
That may actually be against the rules for Conveyancers depending on where you live, find out if your conveyancer is part of a legal body (registered in some way as a conveyancer) and make an inquiry/complaint there.
In case you hadn’t noticed, Chinese devices are frequently banned in Canada, especially for government use.
Chinese gear in telecom networks is either not allowed or being phased out. Chinese cellphones are not allowed for government use. Chinese apps are not allowed on government machines.
I do believe cars are a meaningful attack vector, with enough market penetration the ability to just “turn them off” could cripple the country, and there’s not much point in letting them in if we limit the percentage down to something that would lessen the impact.
Welcome
It’s not about being competitive against Chinese EVs, it’s about preventing China from attacking us economically, politically, and potentially even digitally.
These aren’t just dumb vehicles, they’re running Chinese made software, for a Chinese company, and reporting data back to China.
They’re not just manufactured in China like you may have with other digital devices, with the software control and data residing in more friendly nations.
That matters.
He’s going to do it again, you’re being delusional if you think he will change in the next few years.
Move on.
