This was taken from the Shira II camp at sunset, at an elevation of about 12,700 ft or around 3,900 m. There’s some graininess due to the lighting conditions but I actually think it adds to the photo - sort of a lofi feel

      Thank you! I got really lucky with my timing. The consistent haze around Kili can make seeing the mountain tough but occasionally does really cool stuff like this

      Thank you! I’m right there with you - I think I said something to my dad about how our camps felt like we were establishing a base on a new planet
