They look cool, but if I ever pay 330€ for a backpack I’ll ask someone to take me behind the barn and shoot me.

At least you’ll already have a nice bright red ❌ target in your back for them to aim at

If my work required me to travel around a lot, 300 for a solid work bag seems like a normal investment.

I saw they have two bags that are updated versions of existing models but now developed with AI and more expensive. I’m genuinely curious what “developed with help of AI” means here though - is it just a gimmick?

A not so cheap brand I have good experiences with is Sandqvist, from Sweden. If you can afford it they offer good quality and they have good values. Y They also list on their website where they source materials and where things are made (mainly south-east Asia and a little bit Europe, nothing in US or China).

Probably people who think this is advertising over information. For example, here’s a list of European made bags would be better.

I originally skipped past on the assumption it was disguised advertising

Advertising a product isn’t the same as recommending a product, both are a form of marketing but not the same thing. That aside, I would have preferred if the title of text of the post would say something like ‘this brand sells European bags, i like them, what companies also sell European bags’ so it becomes a conversation rather than a notification.

I think the downvotes are bots. I’ve noticed it myself, some downvotes at first, and then it starts gaining traction. Maybe it’s big tech, not liking the competition of the federation, or it might be tankies. Who knows.

Fun fact: the upvotes don’t accumulate as on Reddit!
